La diseñadora granadina Pilar Dalbat ha vuelto a la Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week madrileña para presentar su colección “Fortuny” otoño-invierno 2022. Esta vez en la sala Goya del Wizink Center de Madrid, un espacio acristalado en el centro de la capital con una arquitectura contemporánea muy potente y que refleja a la perfección la esencia y ADN de la firma.
Este desfile forma parte de “El Universo en una caja” una película-documental dirigida por José Sanchéz-Montes y producida por Siesta Producciones y TVE. Cuenta la historia del artista Mariano Fortuny Madrazo y su mujer Henriette Negrin a través de los distintos lugares donde vivieron. Para este recorrido se toma como punto de partida la colección creada por Pilar Dalbat con motivo del 150 Aniversario del nacimiento del artista. El documental asiste a todo el proceso creativo de la diseñadora, desde que nace en su cabeza hasta su presentación en Madrid y posteriormente, en Granada. El estreno está previsto para diciembre de 2021.
Esta colección está inspirada en las obras y técnicas del multifacético artista granadino Mariano Fortuny para rendirle homenaje coincidiendo con el 150 aniversario de su nacimiento. La propuesta de la diseñadora bucea en el universo Fortuny y es un reflejo de las técnicas que él usó en sus diseños textiles. Investigar y experimentar con estas técnicas es también una manera de proteger una prenda del consumo rápido. Para la diseñadora, la moda sostenible es crear prendas con una gran carga emocional y protegerlas y cuidarlas para que perduren en el tiempo.

Granada-born designer Pilar Dalbat has returned to Madrid's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to present her fall-winter 2022 “Fortuny” collection. This time in the Goya room of the Wizink Center in Madrid, a glass-enclosed space in the center of the capital with a very powerful contemporary architecture that perfectly reflects the essence and DNA of the firm.
This parade is part of “El Universo en una caja” a documentary film directed by José Sanchéz-Montes and produced by Siesta Producciones and TVE. It tells the story of the artist Mariano Fortuny Madrazo and his wife Henriette Negrin through the different places where they lived. The starting point for this tour is the collection created by Pilar Dalbat on the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of the artist's birth. The documentary attends the entire creative process of the designer, from the moment she was born in her head until her presentation in Madrid and later, in Granada. The premiere is scheduled for December 2021.
