La singularidad de una obra de arte se encuentra en su interior. La esencia, también. El soporte pertenece al engranaje que mueve y proyecta la propia estructura de la obra, pero el instante mismo de esa puntita de sensibilidad que se nos queda como impacto en el cerebro pertenece al alma interna del instante creativo, a la última pincelada o a la rima final. Cuando se cierra el círculo entorno a la decisiva corchea o semicorchea y se nos vienen arriba las lágrimas y la piel de gallina, el destino último del envés de la piel del artista se muestra tal cual es. Buscar es, además de insensato, inabarcable. Al arte se encuentra, no se busca.
Viajar tiene este don de búsqueda y de encuentro. No siempre se completa, es obvio, pero cuando se da, es una sensación plena de felicidad y de gozo.
Algo parecido ocurre en Torrijos, un pueblo de la provincia de Toledo, ni muy grande ni muy pequeño, ni muy desconocido, ni muy famoso. Una localidad acogedora y agradable en la que podemos encontrar una de las muestras de arte urbano más singular de Castilla-La Mancha. Un lugar de la España interior alejado de las grandes urbes donde se exhibe y se cultiva una de las manifestaciones artísticas más comprometidas y complicadas: el mural de gran formato.
“Más Allá de la Pared” es un proyecto artístico y cultural con murales realizados por artistas nacionales e internacionales repartidos por toda la ciudad y englobados dentro de una apuesta intensa e interesante. Un puntito de luz diferente en el panorama artístico manchego. Una aventura arriesgada de color e imaginación que Daniel Ferrer y Beatriz Clemente, dos artistas madrileños afincados en la localidad responsables de la plataforma “Take Art Way”, decidieron poner en marcha, conjuntamente con el Ayuntamiento de Torrijos. Un maravilloso y novedoso proyecto que pone de manifiesto que el buen gusto y la elegancia no están reñidas con el urbanismo ni con el tratamiento de la cultura por parte de las instituciones.

The uniqueness of a work of art is found within. The essence, too. The support belongs to the gear that moves and projects the structure of the work itself, but the very moment of that point of sensitivity that remains as an impact on the brain, belongs to the inner soul of the creative moment, to the last brushstroke or to the rhyme final. When the circle closes around the decisive eighth or sixteenth note and tears and goose bumps come to us, the ultimate destination of the underside of the artist's skin is shown as it is. Searching is, in addition to being foolish, unfathomable. Art is found, it is not sought.
Traveling has this gift of searching and meeting. It is not always complete, it is obvious, but when it occurs, it is a full feeling of happiness and joy.
Something similar happens in Torrijos, a town in the province of Toledo, not too big or too small, not very unknown, not very famous. A cozy and pleasant town that hosts one of the most unique urban art samples in Castilla-La Mancha. A place in inland Spain away from the big cities where one of the most committed and complicated manifestations of urban art is exhibited and cultivated: the large-format wall.
Spread around the city, and encompassed within a commitment to "street art", "Beyond the Wall" is an artistic and cultural project with murals made by national and international artists. An intense and interesting bet. A different point of light in the La Mancha art scene. A risky adventure of color and imagination that Daniel Ferrer and Beatriz Clemente, two artists from Madrid living in the town responsible for the “Take Art Way” platform, decided to launch, together with the Torrijos City Council. A wonderful and innovative project that shows that good taste and elegance are not at odds with urban planning or with the treatment of culture by institutions.
