Tras cuatro ediciones de gran acogida, Madrid Craft Week vuelve a celebrar su edición navideña del 12 al 21 de noviembre. Una semana para celebrar la autenticidad, la creatividad y el trabajo bien hecho a través de experiencias únicas en diferentes espacios y comercios de los barrios más céntricos de Madrid. Este evento contará con jornadas y conferencias, exposiciones e intervenciones en la calle, circuitos por establecimientos artesanales, talleres, concursos y días de puertas abiertas entre otras muchas acciones creadas para que MCW sea el referente de la artesanía en la capital apoyando al comercio local, la sostenibilidad y el mundo craft en los sectores de la moda, la decoración, el arte y la gastronomía.
Además, del 19 al 21 de noviembre Madrid Craft Week contará con un Espacio Craft donde participarán artesanos y diseñadores que no disponen de locales físicos para poder exponer y vender sus creaciones. Esta nueva edición contará con la presencia física de artesanos de la isla de La Palma para que puedan promover sus productos de calidad en la península y reciban ese apoyo que tanto les hace falta en estos momentos.
El denominador común de esta acción es lo “craft”, un movimiento que aúna lo exclusivo, sostenible y artesanal: destreza, diseño, arte, manufactura y confección.
El evento cuenta un año más con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Madrid y su iniciativa con Madrid Capital de Moda y Todo está en Madrid, así como de las principales asociaciones de comerciantes de los barrios como Las Letras Street, Chueca Diversa, Salesas y El Rastro, que coordinarán las actividades que se llevarán a cabo en sus respectivos barrios con el objetivo de dinamizarlos e impulsar las ventas de sus asociados. Y otras asociaciones de profesionales como SaCo y ACTM que participarán de las jornadas y charlas de artesanía.
¿Qué novedades encontraremos en esta edición?
Espacio Craft: un recinto que se podrá visitar del 19 al 21 de noviembre donde el público podrá comprar productos artesanos de todo tipo y conocer a los propios diseñadores.
Circuitos de comercios Madrid Craft Week: el público contará con más de 220 de comercios artesanos para conocer el mundo craft, disfrutar de talleres, exposiciones, jornadas de puertas, conferencias y descuentos.
Elemento notorio e instagrameable: se realizará un corpóreo de 2 metros formando las palabras “MADRID CRAFT WEEK” con decoración vegetal y alumbrado. Este elemento estará realizado por diversas floristerías del barrio en el que se instale el corpóreo y el público que se realice fotos junto a él y las publique en sus redes sociales podrá entrar en diversos sorteos.
Concurso de Mesas de Navidad: disfrutaremos de escaparates, artesanos y tiendas especiales que participarán en un concurso abierto para realizar la mejor mesa de navidad.
Premios Madrid Craft Week: una de las acciones más novedosas ya que serán los primeros premios que se organizan para homenajear a este sector. Entre las principales categorías encontramos: Mejor artesano, Barrio Promotor de la artesanía, Institución más comprometida con la artesanía o Mejor comercio artesano entre otros.
Como en las pasadas ediciones, los barrios participantes brindarán la oportunidad al público general de poder disfrutar de experiencias vinculadas a la artesanía de su zona. Ofrecerán un completo programa de actividades en los comercios seleccionados, dónde el público podrá formarse o simplemente disfrutar y conocer más sobre el apasionante mundo de lo “hecho a mano”. En el Barrio de Las Letras, junto a la asociación Las letras Street se realizará diferentes acciones entre las que encontraremos exposiciones, talleres y degustaciones en comercios como Calzados Franjul, Capas Seseña, Matilda o El Florista.
Salesas se une a esta iniciativa con una edición especial de talleres y exposiciones que contará con una ruta de comercios artesanales y ecológicos como Kumi, Diwalitt, Flores Premium, Pili Ferrer o Lisi Fracchia.
Por su parte, Chueca Diversa se une a la semana de la artesanía con una selección de comercios especializados y referentes en la capital como Cement Design, Xoan Viqueira Store, Aliter Dulcia o Mercado de San Antón, entre otros.
Junto a la asociación de El Rastro, se podrán disfrutar de acciones y talleres de la mano de tiendas como Florea, Los pequeños seres, Eturel o La Oficial Cerámica.

After four very well received editions, Madrid Craft Week will once again celebrate its Christmas edition from November 12 to 21. A week to celebrate authenticity, creativity and a job well done through unique experiences in different spaces and shops in the most central neighborhoods of Madrid.
